Respect is a two-way street. There is no good reason to respect someone who does not respect you.

Human Rights lawyers need to grasp here and elsewhere:

Human Rights are not equal and absolute. They are relative and different. And they are sometimes in conflict with each other.

If someone does not respect your human right to lead your life – abuses it, murders it, you have no good reason to respect his.

 Daesh and other Religious fanatics have their Human Rights, but Self Defense will always be your Human Right denying them theirs.
